Camp Rules
We want to have an fun & organized, family camp.
Please follow the rules for the consideration of others.
Accommodations: Primitive tent camping is available throughout the camp and is included in the price of admission.
Please see http://www.sertomayouthranch.com for rates for RV hookups, which is NOT included in the price of admission. RV hookups are water & 30 amp electric (no 50 amp service available). Anyone requiring electric or water hook up (including vendors) must pay directly to Sertoma Youth Ranch.
There are 2 shower and restroom facilities on site, lots of hot showers & restrooms!
Please bring your own tents, CHAIRS, sleeping bags, sheets, pillows, washcloths, towels, soap, shampoo etc.
Fire rings are scattered throughout the park and are available for use, feel free to just grab one. Please do not leave your fire unattended. You can bring your own firewood, or you may purchase from Sertoma Youth Ranch. Please do not cut wood from the park.
There are about 40 picnic tables throughout the park, it's ok to move one to your camp site as long as you return it to the original space before leaving.
Dogs on a leash are allowed in the park, but not in restrooms or under any rooftop (pavillions). Please clean up after your pet. If your dog has an attitude, please leave him/her at home. If we have complaints about your pet, he/she has to go home.
Smoking is permitted, but please dispose of cigarette butts in the appropriate receptacles in the smoking areas. Please do not throw the cigarette butts on the ground. Dispose of garbage in barrels, wire baskets are for aluminum cans. Participants must remove all personal items before leaving camp and personal areas must be free of trash and cigarette butts. Please do not leave any bottles or cans in fire rings.
Minors must be under the care of a parent or guardian at all times and may not be left unattended unless they are participating in the Children's Program. A playground is available for the children, with swings and slides in a fenced in area.
The sale or use of any illegal substances on or around the camp is prohibited. Fireworks and weapons are not permitted.
Any damage to the camp or camp facilities will be the responsibility of the individuals who caused the damage.
We do not provide security, and assume no responsibility for loss of or damage to personal property. Please do not bring unnecessary items of value. You may want to lock your valuable in your car or carry them with you.
Equipment areas (pole barns) are off limits to campers and guests.
Bicycles are not permitted on pavillion floors and are to be off roads at dusk. Motorized bicycles, scooters or ATV's are not permitted. Golf carts are to be operated by licensed drivers only. Headlights are required between dusk and dawn.
No sound systems at camp sites (this includes DJ's), sound systems must be in designated concert areas.
All attendees must wear 2 wristbands, one for the entrance to Sertoma Youth Ranch and the other from CMTA during the event. If you lose your wristband, you must pay for another one, it costs $8.
No video taping or recording devices are permitted during classes or performances.
Any public disturbance, harassment or fighting will result in removal from the camp immediately.
All participants must agree to a Release of Liability and Video/Photography waiver.
Anyone who does not abide by these camp rules is subject to be removed from the camp with no refund of admission.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND VIDEO/PHOTOGRAPHY WAIVER
I realize that attending Camp Maitres Tambour Afric (Master of the African Drum & Dance Camp) events could involve some possible personal liabilities to me and any minor I may have custody of while participating in events coordinated by Ozilly Connections, Inc. Despite precautions, illness, accidents, theft, and injuries can and may occur. By attending, I assume all risk related to the use of any and all spaces used by Ozilly Connections, Inc. I agree to release and hold harmless Ozilly Connections, Inc., including teachers, performers, volunteers, vendors, and all staff members as well as any facility used by Ozilly Connections, Inc., from any cause of action, claims, or demands of any nature whatsoever, now and in the future. I will not hold Ozilly Connections, Inc. liable for any personal injury or any personal property damage, which may occur on the premises used during its events.
I hereby agree not to sue and forever discharge Ozilly Connections, Inc. from any such claims, demands, rights, and causes of action whatsoever kind of nature, arising from and by reason of any and all known/unknown, foreseen/unforeseen bodily and personal injuries, including death, damage to property, and the consequences thereof, resulting from my participation in or growing out of or connected with such programs or activities produced by Ozilly Connections, Inc. Furthermore, I agree to obey the camp and facility rules and take full responsibility for any damage children under my supervision and/or I may cause to the facilities in use by Ozilly Connections, Inc. In the event that I should observe any unsafe personal conduct or unsafe physical condition during class, I agree to report the unsafe personal conduct or condition to a staff member as soon as possible. Ozilly Connections is also not responsible for any personal injuries including the handling of equipment, instruments or lack of capacity to follow instructions.
I am giving this Release in consideration for, and I recognize that by attending Camp Maitres Tambour Afric, this Release is a condition of, allowing me to be a guest and/or a performer at the Camp Maitres Tambour Afric. I agree that Ozilly Connections, Inc. may tape and photograph me and record my voice and conversation including quotes, paraphrases and sounds at Camp Maitres Tambour Afric, for use in and in connection with Ozilly Connections, Inc. and Camp Maitres Tambour Afric. I also understand and agree that Camp Maitres Tambour Afric is a non-guild production and there will be no residual or any other type of payment due in connection with my performance or actions.
I also agree to the release of all pictures, videos, and all other potentially promotional material associated with this event to the care of Ozilly Connections, Inc. who shall have the exclusive right to copy, sell, and use any and all photos and/or videos of myself and/or any minors in my care from its events for Ozilly Connections, Inc.’s profit or promotion. I will not pursue Ozilly Connections, Inc. at a future date regarding these matters. Ozilly Connections has the right to use my photos for promotional purposes (not for sale).
By attending (as a volunteer or paid guest), I agree to all terms and conditions disclosed above for any and all Ozilly Connections, Inc. events both now and in the future.
